MEG Reclamation
The presence of salts in the oil and gas produced from wells, which are typically dissolved in MEG, can result in several operational problems, including filter plugging, reduced exchangers capacity, corrosion and erosion in pipelines and equipment, decreased thermal efficiency of heat exchangers, and significant MEG losses. To overcome these challenges, a MEG Reclamation Unit is employed. In this unit, under vacuum condition, the MEG and Water contained in the solution is completely vaporized, while the salts are separated from the MEG in either dissolved or solid form. As a result, the recovered MEG product is free from undesirable salts.
The process utilized by our Company is currently available only through a limited number of international companies.
